The Emerald Coast Chapterpromotes the art of EW for members in the Florida Panhandle.

The AOC is a professional organization of individuals, corporations and Defense professionals that promotes Electronic Defense and Information Superiority.

The AOC was officially organized in 1964 to exchange data on the technical and operational aspects of EW. When the Association was organized, the founding fathers established several goals. Among these was an Awards and Scholarships program that has grown to encompass the development of technical skills needed for todays modern military combat.

Electronic Warfare is associated with the terms "electronic combat", "command and control warfare", and "Information Warfare". The exact definitions continually evolve, and new ones materialize.
