ENLISTED TUITION GRANT PROGRAM

The Enlisted Tuition Grant Program was established by the Association of Old Crows (AOC) to support enlisted personnel who want to improve their skill level to qualify for a higher position within the field of electronic warfare and information superiority.

This program provides grant money to defray the cost for tuition, books, and lab fees while working on your CCAF degree in Avionics System Technology or Communication Application Technology fields. If you have completed your CCAF degree the program will continue to provide money so long as you are working towards a technical degree applicable to the field of electronic warfare or information superiority - some examples are electrical/electronic engineering and computer science/information.

To request a Grant, you must fill out the application form and provide a copy of your class registration form. Call SSgt Ed Youmans for a copy of the application. His number is given at the bottom of this page. Or click here to get a copy of the Application online.

To take advantage of the services of the Association, we recommend the following.

1. Join the AOC - $30 per year (or $75 for 3-years), click here for the AOC membership application.

2. Attend AOC functions in the local area, and

3. Participate in the the AOC Bond Boulevard cleanup. See "Regularly Scheduled Events" on our home page.

The grant amount is $75 per college term/semester. The recommendations mentioned above are small for this grant money - upwards to $300 - $400 per calendar year depending on the college you attend and how many terms/semesters they have. Participation in this organization is also a good EPR bullet, not to mention showing involvement in the local community. Get more information at the local chapter here.

The Journal of Electronic Defense is the official publication of the Association of Old Crows, you can review it at http://www.jedonline.com.

If I can be of any further assistance please feel free to drop me an e-mail or call. I hope to see a Grant application from you in the near future, and in return handing you a check.

If you must drop the class or don't complete the class you will be asked to refund the grant money.
